Solar Panel Generated Electricity

Solar Panels are an affordable, effective source of electricity in most parts of the world.  Central Minnesota gets a fair amount of sunlight during our four distinct seasons, we don't have a long 'rainy season' and isn't constantly overcast.  For those reasons, solar panels will be a big part of my combination wind/solar system.

Cost:  The costs vary on solar panels depending on the number you need, brand name, size, wattage, etc.  I'm going to start small and expand as needed, so I'll update this page occasionally to include all involved costs and let you know how much work it was to install...including the effectiveness of the unit and any woes I encounter.
