Solar Hot Water Heating

Solar hot water seems like a very efficient, low-maintenance addition to my off-grid design.  I'm even thinking I may integrate solar hot water into my in-floor heating system.  I have to check more into the cost, but I'm pretty convinced that eventually I'll have a system set up.

Cost:  Admittedly I haven't done much research into costs associated with solar water heating.  The costs will obviously vary depending on your hot water needs (family household vs single guy, for instance).  If/when I get a system like this in place, I'll update this page to include all involved costs and let you know how much work it was to install...including the effectiveness of the unit and any woes I encounter.
