Deck Footing Tubes

When pouring frost footings for decks and other similar projects, these smooth cardboard tubes are recommended (probably required in some areas).  They allow the frost that builds up during the winter to slip past them instead of grabbing them and pushing them upwards.  I used (6) footings for this project, (3) per deck, and chose the 48" tubes to assure reaching below the Minnesota frost line.
