Eave Rafter Platform

I built this narrow platform with a couple 2x6's and a couple 2x4's for bracing.  The platform area is about 10" wide, so not a whole lot of room to dance around up there - and you know how I like to dance!  I used nice, big barn nails for bracing it to the upright, and left a couple ropes tethered to it just in case.  There was no need for the tethers because it was really pretty solid and worked perfectly.  In this picture you see one eave rafter in place.  That was the trial rafter to get the procedure down.  The second rafter was much easier - then I had to move the entire platform to the other side of the house.
